FREE PAPER - POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster Preparation Guidelines:

To ensure your poster is clear and engaging, please consider the following tips:

Lead with the Conclusion: Present your main findings upfront and highlight them in bullet points.

Keep Text Concise: Use bullets instead of long sentences to ensure clarity and brevity.

Visualize Results: Avoid detailed tables; instead, use graphs, figures and flow charts to illustrate your results effectively.

Use Colors Sparingly: Colors can emphasize key sections, but should be used subtly to avoid distraction.

Limit Interactive Elements: Films, animations, and other interactive materials are not supported.

Hyperlinks: Please note that hyperlinks will not function in the poster.

🚫 Avoid Creating an Unpleasing Research Poster

Make sure your MAOMS research poster is clear, concise, and visually accessible.

✅ Use high color contrast for readability (e.g., dark text on a light background).

✅ Choose legible fonts such as Arial, Calibri, or Times New Roman. Avoid decorative or hard-to-read fonts.

✅ Maintain readable font sizes — at least 24 pt for body text and 32–48 pt for headings.

✅ Organize your content clearly with sections like Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

✅ Support your findings with data and visuals, not personal opinions or vague statements.

✅ Use bullet points, charts, and graphics to enhance clarity — not clutter your layout.

✅ Let your research speak for itself through clarity and professionalism!
