CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We invite interested participants to submit an abstract to the 29th Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Annual Scientific Conference 2025 (MAOMS-ASC 2025) for consideration by the Scientific Program Committee.
Information for presenter
- Abstract must be original and must not have been published previously.
- Your abstract should be structured with the introduction, objectives, methods, results and conclusions clearly stated (for original research) or with introduction, case report and conclusions (for case report).
- Abstract texts should be 300 words or less for original research and 200 words of less for case report.
- No abbreviations are allowed.
- All listed authors of the presentation/research must be made aware of the submission.
- All authors' names must be arranged with the presenter’s name being 1st and main supervisor/consultant being last.
- All original research presentations will be in oral mode while all case report presentations will be in e-poster mode.
- The presenter must be a registered participant of the conference for the abstract to be accepted.
- The details of presentation (time length of oral presentation, poster presentation formats, schedule of presentation etc.) will also be notified by the Scientific Program Committee following acceptance.
- Only abstracts of free paper that is accepted for the scientific meeting will be published in the 2025 edition of the Malaysian Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (MJOMS).
Important dates
- The abstracts submission is now open and can only be submitted through the online form below.
- Deadline for Submission EXTENDED TO SUNDAY, 25 MAY 2025 @ 12 MIDNIGHT
- Corresponding authors will receive notification of abstract acceptance/ rejection no later than 5th June 2025.
- The MAOMS ASC 2025 will be held on the 26 - 29 June 2025 at the Zecon Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
- The free paper presentation for “Original Research” category will be held PHYSICALLY on Friday, 27 June 2025, at the conference venue.
- The free paper presentation for “Case reports” category will be in E-poster mode.
