President's Address - Happy New Year 2025!

Ladies and Gentlemen, esteemed colleagues, and members of our association,

It is with immense joy and heartfelt gratitude that I, along with the entire committee, share this message with you as we welcome 2025. As we embark on this new year, I sincerely wish each of you health, happiness, and prosperity in all that lies ahead.

Reflecting on the year gone by, I am pleased to announce that we have witnessed steady growth in our membership. This includes a significant number of new registrations, including life members, which speaks to the increasing strength and unity within our specialty. Our association continues to grow, and it is this collective strength that will carry us forward.

As many of you know, 2024 presented its share of challenges, particularly within our specialty and from others. From issues surrounding surgery to increasing treatment charges and other concerns, the road was not always smooth. Yet, despite these challenges, we must remain focused on what matters most: the well-being of our patients, the advancement of our specialty, and our collective commitment to excellence. The priority has always been, and will always be, the care of our patients—especially through in- and outpatient services and surgical procedures offered.

In moving forward, we must recognize that change is inevitable. We are living in an era where digital transformation is no longer just an option; it is a necessity. The future lies in reducing our dependency on manual processes and embracing the power of technology to streamline our operations, improve patient care, and enhance the efficiency of our day-to-day activities. Going digital is not just a step forward; it is a leap into the future and better care.

But even as we adopt new technologies, we must remember that our strength lies in collaboration and strong network. In a world that is increasingly interconnected, the importance of teamwork cannot be overstated. Working together, supporting each other, and sharing knowledge will enable us to overcome challenges and achieve the common goals we all strive for.

As we continue to strengthen our association, I am proud to share with you that we have meticulously re-designed our platform to serve as your go-to resource for all association-related information, updates, and opportunities. This platform will allow us to stay connected, informed, and engaged, and will be a cornerstone of our growth and success moving forward. The records we create here will not only serve as a reflection of our collective journey but will also stand as an archive—an enduring footprint accessible for years to come.
